Our series of masterclasses will include a combination of writing prompts, focussed writing time and professional advice from an experienced writer to support you in exploring LGBT themes in your writing.

Tagged ‘literary hero’ by The Skinny, Rosie Garland is a novelist, poet and singer with post-punk band The March Violets. She performs twisted music-hall songs as The Time-Travelling Suffragette.

Taking place in Nottingham from July 23rd to 27th for the week leading up to Nottingham Pride, Write Pride is a series of workshops and events exploring and celebrating the work of LGBTQIA writers from 5 writing disciplines: prose, film, song writing, poetry and theatre. Each day will also include an evening celebration event and will come to an end with a final celebratory project on July 28th - the day of Nottingham Pride!
